Bladder pipe (Platerspiel or Blaterpfeife) is a simplified bagpipe that was common in Europe in the Middle Ages.
In my workshop, I developed my own version of Bladder pipe which has single carbon reeds. The chanter of my Bladder pipes has a scale Nona (g’ — a’ ‘). The drone has two notes and therefore the bagpipe has two keys: G major and A minor. This instrument has open fingering (however, it is possible to make the fingering closed or half-closed).
I make a bag of several pieces of leather in the shape of a bladder (I don’t use the original bladder).

Bagless Bagpipe has the same pipes with identical scale as the Blаdder Pipe. The only difference is that the Bagless Bagpipe has no bag and is equipped with a special cap.
